An alien-themed half-term at the Science and Industry Museum, linked to its Horrible Science space exhibition. Children can design their own alien species, go on a galactic treasure hunt, build a spaceship with a giant rocket kit and play space-themed arcade games on the big screen. Over-7s can storyboard and animate their own alien in the stop-motion studio, which has limited places, and morning sci-fi film screenings give everyone a sit-down.
