Marple's long-running community bonfire in Brabyns Park, run by local Scouts and Guides, with food stalls and mulled wine from 6pm, a bonfire-lighting procession at 7pm and a 20-minute firework display at 7.30pm. The early finish suits younger children. It's ticket-only and has sold out for three years, with nothing sold on the door; under-5s go free.
