A traditional family pantomime of The Little Mermaid by South Manchester AOS, an award-winning amateur company, with songs, dancing, colourful costumes and the usual audience fun. The show runs about two and a half hours including an interval. It is not suitable for under-5s and babes in arms are not admitted; concession tickets must be booked with a full-price adult.

Good to know about Z-arts

Parking: No car park, but plenty of pay-and-display street parking nearby (postcode M15 5ZA). Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop is a 16-minute walk.
Buggies: Buggies welcome; for theatre shows you may need to leave them in the buggy park.
Food: Z-café (Tuesday to Saturday) does sandwiches, kids' picnic boxes and cakes, with high chairs and baby food heated.
Toilets: Baby change facilities, potties and toilet steps are available.
