SEN-friendly

At Manchester Museum: Quiet hours or early opening · Quiet space to take a break · Ear defenders or sensory bags to borrow · Changing Places toilet. More about access here

Sessions can change or sell out, so check with the venue before you book. More SEN-friendly days out

Something different most days of half-term at Manchester Museum: building with recycled materials, Billie Bee storytime with a bee waggle dance for ages 2 to 7, Halloween decorations made from waste with Biffa, and pop-up nature stalls from the RSPB and Friends of the Earth. Most activities are drop-in; storytime places are limited, so sign up on the day.
