Ten decorated doors have been placed across Lyme's gardens, woods and parkland for half-term, each one telling a piece of local folklore or a ghost story, such as the legend of the White Lady. Start at the Chapel for the map, then knock, peek through and scan the QR code at each door. Seeing them all means a walk of about 6km with some climbing, on paths too rough for buggies, so wear sturdy shoes.
