The Trees of Lyme Park and Their Fungal Associates (exhibition and Top Lawn trail)

Going with friends? Send it to them

A small exhibition in the Still Room at Lyme about five of the park's signature trees and the fungi that live alongside them, followed by a self-guided trail of display panels around the Top Lawn. The curator, an Oxford University microbiologist, is on hand on some Saturdays to answer questions. It suits older children curious about nature, the trail route is wheelchair-accessible, and it's free with normal admission.
