A Halloween evening on the East Lancashire Railway: families walk through a jump-scare corridor on the footbridge, meet costumed characters on the platform for songs and dancing, then ride the darkened Scream Train to help Zombie Bob's Monster Squad hunt the Swamp Monster of Irwell Vale. The round trip from Bury takes about an hour; fancy dress encouraged.
