A relaxed, roughly 50-minute concert where a 26-piece Hallé ensemble plays short, popular classical pieces, introduced by the players themselves. Children can sing along, shake shakers and move about, and any reaction is welcome, with a quiet room next door if someone needs a break. The Tuesday 11am performance is aimed at young families; seats are unreserved, so arrive about 15 minutes early.
