An evening Halloween trail through 15 acres of woodland lit with glowing pumpkins and choreographed light and sound, with costumed characters such as witches, pirates and a skeleton stopping to chat along the way. There are fire pits for toasting marshmallows, real owls to meet and a food court. You book a timed entry slot and most families spend 1.5 to 2 hours; paths can get muddy, so skip prams with small wheels.
